Titanium has moved beyond its reputation as an alternative metal. For jewellery teams balancing expressive design, daily wearability and dependable production, it is becoming a material with its own premium language.
Strength without visual weight
Its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio lets designers increase volume without creating a piece that feels heavy on the body. Broad cuffs, articulated links and sculptural rings can retain their presence while remaining comfortable enough for everyday wear.
The advantage is not simply lower weight. It is the freedom to put material exactly where the design needs it.
Precision changes the design conversation
Grade 5 titanium responds particularly well to controlled CNC machining. Features that are difficult to resolve consistently through casting—fine hinge geometry, calibrated tension zones and repeatable internal profiles—can be cut to a stable digital specification.
Low mass for larger, more architectural silhouettes
Excellent corrosion resistance and skin compatibility
Repeatable machining for closures and moving assemblies
A complementary material, not a replacement
Platinum still offers density, luminosity and a distinct sense of permanence. The most interesting collections use the two materials deliberately: platinum where visual and physical weight matter, titanium where colour, volume or mechanical performance can do more.
